This December, No.9 Cork Street gallery is set to host a captivating exhibition featuring works from renowned artists and personalities. The lineup includes a dual exhibition showcasing the ethereal paintings of Marcella Barceló and the surreal bronze and ceramic creations of Apollinaria Broche. Inspired by Edgar Allan Poe’s “Island of the Fay,” the exhibition promises a journey into dreamlike landscapes and fantastical creatures. The show runs from November 29th to December 14th.
Another highlight is the debut of 20 new works by Radiohead’s Thom Yorke and his long-time collaborator, Stanley Donwood. Entitled “Logical Absurdity,” this exhibition features screen prints, linocuts, lithographs, paintings, and tapestries inspired by diverse sources ranging from 17th-century Persian nautical maps to Medieval Flemish textiles. This collection, also on display from November 29th to December 14th, promises a visual feast for Radiohead fans and art enthusiasts alike.
Adding to the excitement, cinematographer Greig Fraser and actor Josh Brolin present “EXPOSURES,” an artistic memoir showcasing original photography and prose from their work on Denis Villeneuve’s Dune films. This exhibition offers a behind-the-scenes glimpse into the making of these cinematic masterpieces, revealing the creative process through Fraser’s evocative images and Brolin’s insightful writing. This unique exhibition will also run from November 29th to December 14th.
No.9 Cork Street is open Tuesday to Saturday, from 10 am to 6 pm. Don’t miss this opportunity to experience a diverse range of artistic expressions in one extraordinary location.
