The Victorian Market in Inverness buzzed with festive cheer on November 30th as the annual Elf on the Shelf Hunt returned. Families flocked to the market, their eyes peeled for the mischievous elves hidden amongst the charming shop windows. This enchanting event, organised by Inverness BID with the support of the Inverness Victorian Market, provided a delightful way for families to kick off the holiday season.
Children and parents alike embarked on a merry scavenger hunt, creating lasting memories as they explored the market’s unique shops and boutiques. The excitement was palpable, with the joyous squeals of children discovering hidden elves echoing through the market’s historic halls.
Margaret Laws, Deputy Manager of Inverness BID, expressed her delight at the event’s success. She highlighted the hunt as a magical opportunity for families to connect, discover local businesses, and immerse themselves in the festive spirit. The event also featured a captivating Elfie’s magic show by Trapeze Entertainment, running from 11 am to 12 pm, and free face painting offered by Starry Eyed Body Art from 11 am to 2 pm, adding extra layers of fun and festivity to the day.
